Welcome to Go Roam Tours! By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before participating in any of our walking tours.

  1. Introduction

Go Roam Tours is a walking tour company offering guided experiences in San Francisco. By booking or participating in a tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Booking & Payment
  • Tours can be booked online through our website or via third-party booking platforms.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
  • We accept credit cards processed by Stripe.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but bookings already made will not be affected.
  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Customer Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 4-7 days of the tour will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are non-refundable.
  • No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
  • Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, guide illness). Customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
  1. Tour Participation & Requirements
  • Participants must be 13 years old or accompanied by a legal guardian.
  • Our tours require moderate physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain, rail tracks, hills, and stairs. Guests should assess their own physical condition before booking.
  • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings; we are not liable for lost or stolen items.
  1. Safety & Liability Waiver
  • By participating, you acknowledge that walking tours involve risks, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Go Roam Tours is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or other incidents that may occur during the tour.
  • Participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by the guide.
  1. Weather & Force Majeure
  • Tours operate rain or shine. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather.
  • In cases of extreme weather (e.g. Level 2 or higher storm including high winds) or unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, public emergencies), we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel tours with refunds issued accordingly.
  1. Code of Conduct
  • We expect all participants to conduct themselves respectfully towards the guide, other guests, and locations visited.
  • Disruptive, intoxicated, or aggressive behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
  1. Photography & Media Policy
  • We may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By joining a tour, you consent to the use of your image unless you explicitly opt out.
  • Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use but must respect the privacy of other participants and the sites visited.
  1. Privacy Policy
  • We collect personal information solely for booking and communication purposes.
  • Customer data is never shared with third parties except as necessary for payment processing or booking facilitation.
  1. Changes to Terms & Conditions
  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued participation in tours constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  1. Governing Law
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts within the City and County of San Francisco.
